Claudia Folts :The Unlimited Artist

The story of Claudia Folts, the designer and founder of Tutu.com, is a remarkable one to say the least. At a young age Claudia had begun her dancing career in some of the most prestigious dance companies in the nation including:  Harkness Dance Theatre, the Baltimore Ballet, Ruth Page's Chicago Ballet, Alphonso Cata's Ballet on Broadway and The New York City Opera. While in the company she grew tired of the old ragged and unfitting ballet costumes. Her frustration grew to curiosity and she taught her self how to alter her costumes, and then ultimately started designing and creating her out costumes for the stage. 

Since then Claudia has created a self owned business that designs and build tutus and dance costumes across the nation and world. She travels to countries like Australia to teach her fool proof seminars on creating classic, childrens and romantic tutus. 

With the opening of her new work space in Charlotte, just three years ago, the company has skyrocketed and she is recognized as one of the nations most renowned dance attire designer's and dance product distributor's.
